Meet Jesse!
Digital Art / Realistic Drawing / Cartooning / Painting
Hello! I’m Jesse. For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved art of all kinds as well as the many different ways I can tell stories through art. It has always fascinated me. In my eyes, art is everywhere, and everything has a story. There are so many different forms art can take, so many meanings it can have, and so many different things it can represent. For me, it has told stories of the past, the present and future; it has been an expression of feelings as well as an outlet and exploration of emotions; it has astounded, changed, and inspired me; it has stirred up memories and opinions; and so much more. Throughout my life, I’ve deeply enjoyed exploring all the different aspects of the art world and where it takes me, and now I’m ecstatic to be able to share my passion with students!
Throughout my time in school, I ventured into any artistic medium I had the opportunity to practice, from various styles of drawing and painting, to sculpting, to glassblowing. Currently, I’m studying art at the University of Texas at Arlington specializing in cinematic animation, pursuing a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree. After I graduate, I plan to continue telling stories and sharing the gift of art with people of all ages, guiding them in ways they can share stories of their own—to inspire others the way I’ve been inspired.
When I’m not busy practicing my craft or teaching it to others, I’m hanging out at home with my cat, and I occasionally have the privilege of traveling out of the country to visit my boyfriend and explore the art of a different culture on the other side of the world. Besides English, I’m also fluent in two other languages, Spanish and French.
